Valley of the Sun Homecare is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and friendly individual to act as our Recruiting and On Boarding Coordinator as well as Reception responsibilities. The Recruitment and On Boarding Coordinator will recruit, screen, hire, train, and engage a staff of caregivers in order to provide the highest quality service to our clients. Front Desk Receptionist will answer and filter phone calls, greet all incoming guests into the office, and help file, fax and ,maintain an organized work environment. Applicants will require knowledge of caregiver recruitment methods such as online job boards, networking with schools, attending job fairs, use of social media, etc. Experience in either training individuals to become caregivers and/or experience as a caregiver is a bonus.
Recruiter/Receptionist Responsibilities:
Reflect the core values of Valley of the Sun HomecareAnswer each employment inquiry in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner.Develop and implement new recruitment strategies online and within the community.Schedule and conduct applicant interviews in an efficient and professional manner.Conduct reference checks, criminal background and motor vehicle check and drug screens on all caregivers.Create and maintain all employment records including but not limited to I-9 form, W-4 form, AZ New Hire, E-Verify and all other employment related documents.Schedule and conduct caregiver orientation and training.Develop engagement strategies to promote caregiver retention and satisfaction.Work in partnership with the scheduling coordinator to coordinate caregiver schedules with an emphasis on creating high quality matches and extraordinary relationships.Create and maintain employee files and ensures caregiver certification documents are up to date.Evaluate and update all orientation and training materials as neededMonitor compliance for local and federal labor and safety laws.Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.Answers phone, greet visitors and monitors voice mailOccasionally fill in on caregiver scheduling when needed.Occasionally fill in on covering caregiver shifts when needed.Rotation of night and weekend on call duties is split among office staff.
