Legal Assistant - Subrogation
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join a fast-paced team handling subrogation lawsuit for one of the premier providers of homeowners insurance.

Essential Job Functions

  • Provide administrative support to Lawyers and enhance office effectiveness
  • Prepare basic legal documents and correspondence
  • Handle communication with clients, witnesses and experts
  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Maintain Attorney calendars
  • Monitor Deadlines
  • Manage E-service email and direct documents to Attorneys
  • Document review and organization
  • E-File, E-Serve and E-Courtesy legal documents

Required Knowledge, Skills & Ability

  • Proven working experience as Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary
  • Familiarity with the law, legal procedures and protocols and court system
  • Satisfactory knowledge of day-to-day operations of a legal office
  • Computer literacy
  • Working knowledge of case management software
  • Must be flexible, able to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work as a team member and independently handle various tasks
