A non-profit organization that is dedicated to the advancement of the health and well-being is seeking an organized, enthusiastic Program Assistant to join their team in Long Island City.
Manage daily task lists, meeting materials, and follow-up items for the Deputy Commissioner of the Division of Prevention of Primary Care, in partnership with Deputy Commissioner staff
Handle confidential information with discretion and diplomacy
Plan for upcoming meetings by preparing the agenda and necessary supporting materials
Work closely with the Deputy Commissioners executive assistant and provide ad-hoc support with daily meeting operations when needed.
Work closely with division leadership to respond to internal and external requests in a timely manner
Coordinate and manage responses cross-bureau, divisional, agency, and external requests.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with key internal staff and external stakeholders
Special projects as assigned or required.
