Essential Duties and Responsibilities Increase market awareness of IPC and opportunistically develop new accountsmarkets prospect for potential customers using various direct methods such as calling and face to face meetings, and indirect methods such as networking (this is often accompanied by an identification of the territoryaccounts in which the AE will prospect) Sell suite of Unigy 360 products and services into new markets and new customers through cold calling customer prospects, appointment setting and opportunity tracking Execute on IPC s go-to-market strategies to secure new accounts, markets and business Hunt and build pipeline opportunities establishing new business contacts through a variety of networking Achieve or exceed assigned sales and business targets and generate new revenue closing sales to new business customers Provide management reporting as required Work within a wider team environment encompassing product development, marketing and operations as required Demonstrate a thorough understanding of market data electronic trading industry and technology Provide, acquire and integrate industry knowledge related to general trends, emerging technologies, competitors Develop, manage and monitor sales funnel and pipeline activity within Salesforce.com Create and maintain accurate account plans and reviews with IPC management Attend local networking events to assist in new sales lead generation Work with (and actively learn from) sales team colleagues with regard to training and development opportunities Cultivate strong relationships with third party and partner companies that may be required to deliver full solutions to customers Work with marketing to plan and execute lead generation campaigns Provide feedback to sales management on ways to decrease the sales cycle, enhance sales, and improve company brand and reputation Provide feedback to company management on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers by extending company offerings Identify sales support requirements and work with marketing to develop improve sales tools Be a positive representative of the company and its brand in the marketplace Conduct all sales activities with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity Requirements Proven experience in a direct sales role with a successful track record of new business sales. 5-10 years of solid, Financial Markets sales experience required. Proven track record of account development, hunting and effective networking Highly developed characteristics must include Innovative Motivation Enjoys selling Excellent communication skills
