The role of Gas Scheduling Administrative Assistant provides Gas Distribution Schedulers with daily administrative assistance. Duties include preparing and printing of work packets, coordinating site checks, contacting Miss Dig for staking requests, contacting customers to confirm gas line appointments, and updating order status in various computer systems. This position also includes assisting Scheduling Team Leaders with preparing meeting agendas, taking meeting minutes and notes, and other administrative tasks. There may be opportunities for additional hours throughout the week according to the needs of the business. The ideal candidate will possess professionalism, the ability to interact with both internal and external customers, a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment. Must be willing and able to rely on Policies, Procedures, Job Aids and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the position. We are willing to train the skilled candidate on the job.
