We are looking for a full-time Administrative Assistant for our headquarters in the Greater Kansas City Area. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Executive Staff. Other essential functions include:
  • Administrative Assistant supporting Senior Executive Assistant and multiple Executive Officers
  • Assist with correspondence needs - transcribe, create, proofread, etc.
  • Coordinate calendars, schedule meetings and escort visitors as needed
  • Screen executive level incoming calls - redirect as appropriate and bring to supervisors attention when necessary
  • Review and redirect incoming correspondence to ensure assistance is provided as needed for customers, suppliers and other general queries
  • Assist with the preparation of highly confidential and sensitive documents
  • Process, scan and mail documents to global offices and business partners
  • Provide support as needed to prepare presentations or organize materials for meetings. Assist with in-house meetings and special events that occur throughout the year
  • Review department expense reports for accuracy and forward for approval
  • Assist with travel preparation for the Administration area
  • Assist with other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
  • Qualified candidates possess an Associates Degree from a 2-year college or university. Other requirements include:
  • Must possess a minimum of 2 years experience performing a role substantially similar to the essential functions of this job description
  • Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Must demonstrate ability to be proactive and a self-starter
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a flexible, fast paced and challenging environment
  • Demonstrate strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must possess the ability to maintain company information in strictest confidence
  • Dedication to providing quality customer service
  • Must possess the ability to type 60 words per minute with accuracy
  • Must possess excellent writing and proofreading skills, with a keen attention to detail and quality
  • A Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university is highly preferred.
