This position is responsible for maintaining open communication on the status of the department with the Store Directors, Clerks, and Supervisor. You will be expected to set and re-set priorities, distinguish between the urgent and the important, solve problems, hold and reconcile ideas and lead program development as well as advancement strategies from conception through cultivation to completion.
Full time/Part time, hourly position. Must be available weekdays, weekends, holidays for various shifts, evenings and on occasion work at another store location.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Exemplify superior guest service with a friendly, helpful, and courteous attitude, using product knowledge and information to answer all questions guests may have about products Provides excellent guest service by answering product-related questions and helping guests locate store merchandise Correctly and efficiently bag groceries for guests Assists guests in carrying out their purchases Maintains the entire store's cleanliness and safety with a sense of urgency & priority Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the store to include the front-end, bathrooms, trash cans, front foyer, break room, and any other areas of the store that may need attention Keeps the parking lot free of trash and shopping carts Brings carts from the parking lot into the store Sweeps and mops floors Washes windows and mirrors throughout store Cleans vending machines Empties trash in the offices and wipes down the front foyer and cart area Establishes or identifies prices of goods or services Returns merchandise to shelves Resolves guests complaints when possible Monitors and manages potential front-end shrink Answers guests' product or store related questions Reports to Store Director Stocks merchandise and cleans shelves as needed Performs other duties as required
Position Requirements Sixteen (16) years of age or older Working with guests and being attentive to their needs Proven leadership ability to exercise sound judgement in interpreting, communicating, and applying policy. Courage to make and implement hard decisions in a timely manner. Ability to demonstrate trustworthiness and integrity in daily activities Ability to work effectively with a broad diversity of individuals and backgrounds, and generational differences, all with the intent to support the core values of the BFL company. Excellent oral and written communication, organizational, interpersonal, advocacy, and time management skills. Display a willingness to become knowledgeable of the organizational structure, policies, procedures, and operations of BFL and be a contributing team member. Requires a great deal of physical work, energy, and the ability to work in various weather conditions Strong interpersonal skills Follows safety guidelines as instructed
